Park City is a lovely destination that offers many activities for visitors throughout the year. I visited Park City during last winter and summer. I enjoyed both of the times the most. Some of the places in Park City, I didn’t want much. In this article, I will share the best things to do in Park City that I enjoyed most and the discussion will be based on my personal experience.


Visit the Historic Park City

The Park City is a fascinating destination in Utah. This town offers a blend of modernity and history. Don’t miss the Historic Park City area if you visit Park City. This place showcases the city’s rich mining heritage.

 

The area of Historic Park City is filled with a delightful mix of galleries restaurants, and boutiques that offer something for everyone. You can learn about Park City’s history by visiting the Park City Museum. The museum features exhibits that detail the town’s evolution from a mining town to a popular ski resort. Also, you can enjoy the historical statues that line the street.


Ski at Deer Valley Resort

Deer Valley Resort is a famous ski resort that has earned a reputation as one of the best skiing destinations in the US. This resort has over 20 chairlifts and 101 ski runs. This place has something for everyone.

Have Fun at Park City Mountain

This resort is a dream come true for skiers. Park City Mountain Resort is the largest ski area in the United States of America. You can explore 7,300 acres of land, 14 bouls, 41 lifts, over 300 trails, and 8 terrains in Park City Mountain Resort.


There you will find a snowboard and ski school, a licensed daycare center, and several ski-in ski-out accommodation options. You can enjoy the Quicksilver Gondola to traverse the mountain easily.


If you need any help, the Mountain Concierge Service is available to answer questions, make dining reservations, or book tours. Also, families will likely appreciate the resort’s ski school, which can change a child’s skiing experience.


High West Distillery & Saloon

You can treat yourself to an experience at High West Distillery & Saloon. This is located in Hitoci Park City at the foot of the Quittin Time Ski Run. The Gastro Distillery and saloon and distillery is only one of its kind in the world. 


You can try delicious Western-inspired pub grub here. Also, you can try a variety of craft whiskeys and spirits made by the High West Distillery. This is located about 16 miles northeast of Wanshop, Utah. 


Don’t miss the complimentary tour of both the distillery and the saloon. The behavior of their staff is very good. I recommended getting there early because the High West Distillery & saloon doesn’t take any reservations. Utah Olympic Park

Utah Olympic Park is a historical site. It was used for various events during the 2002 Winter Olympics. Still, this is a training center for present and future Olympic athletes.


You can visit the Utah Olympic Park for free and the place has many attractions to explore such as The Eccles Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Museum, the Alf Engen Ski Museum, the Discovery Zone obstacles course, hiking trails, and the Mountain Challenge course.


If you want to make your tour an unforgettable experience, you can ride the Comet Bobsled. Even if you are not a professional or expert skier, this park is a must-see destination. You can learn about the history of Utah’s ski industry and the 2000 Olympic Games at the free museums.


Attend the Sundance Film Festival 

Highly recommended to attend the Sundance Film Festival. This is a highly anticipated event in Park City. It draws movie lovers as one of the largest independent film festivals in the world.
