It takes one hour to reach Causey Reservoir from Salk Lake City. Motor boat is not allowed here but you can do paddle boarding, kayaking, and fishing. My recommendation is to use a Tube to float on the water to feel relaxed. This feeling was amazing.
Homestead Crater
So after Causey Reservoir, I’m going to head over to one of the famous places to go swimming and the name of the place is Homestead Crater. This crater has 65 feet deep geothermal hot water. When I got there and walked through a door, there was some scuba and snorkel gear you could rent. Then I started swimming around the water, which was around 93 degrees Fahrenheit. It costs about 16$ to enjoy this unbelievable swimming experience. I definitely would recommend adding it to your list of the best things to do during summer vacation in Utah.

After Homestead Crater, I’m going to head down Sand Hollow. This place is one of my all-time favorite places to cloff jump and this is a man-made reservoir. If you want to go take a dune buggy up there, will find some awesome dunes. If you want to swim and enjoy the water, you can there during summer and spring.
Planet Mars
I wanted to see what the sunrise on Mars would look like. So I woke up at 5 am and hiked over to this incredible vantage point. When the sun peeked over the horizon. I was stunned by the pink and orange hues. The light bounces off the rocks. I was there till afternoon.
