The lobby of The Westin New York was buzzing with energy and the warm atmosphere of Christmas. I was a few steps away from the awesome light of Times Square. I was surprised by their hot cocoa and festive cookies and also enjoy the Broadway show as it’s near to this hotel.
The staff was very courteous, professional, and friendly. I took my breakfast from Foundry and the breakfast was just amazing. I was on the 20th floor of the hotel and the view was from there. Also, I enjoyed my gym, which was on top of all the major subway lines.

Last Christmas I was in New York Marriott Marquis Hotel and that was an unforgettable experience. The lobby was full of lights and ornaments. There was a big Christmas tree. I took some pictures with my wife.

My room at the hotel was modern and comfortable and I enjoyed the views of the bustling city streets below. I wanted a delicious lunch and a wonderful breakfast. The entire staff of The Plaza was amiable. Also, I enjoyed their swimming pool, spa, fitness center, and various dining options. Because of its location, I didn’t miss the Broadway show. Overall the location and the quality of the hotel were excellent.
The Ritz-Carlton New York
If you want to be close to Central Park, The Ritz-Carlton is a great option. It is situated by some of the city’s main attractions and is also done out for Christmas.
The hotel is located in Midtown Manhattan and the best shopping is nearby. The Ritz-Carlton has 259 luxurious guest rooms and suits. Here you get the views of Central Park.
When I entered the lobby, I was surprised to see their cozy and festive atmosphere. There were huge holiday decorations and the soft glow of Christmas lights. There was also an ice skating rink at Wollman Rink. My suit was comfortable with the view of the snowy park below. Their food and service were good compared to other hotels. JW Marroitt Essex House

I stayed there for 3 days with my family. That was a Christmas holiday. Our room was stylish and comfortable as that was a Christmas event. The hotel surprised us with festive treats. We take our holiday-inspired meal at Southgate Bar & Restaurant. The staff of this hotel was helpful and friendly.
Park Lane

This hotel is already very crowded, it gets even more crowded during the Christmas holidays. On these days the entire hotel is lit up with Christmas trees and light.
My wife and I spent 2 nights at Park Lane a few years ago. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the panoramic views of Central Park twinkling holiday lights at night. On Christmas holidays the hotel treated a special cocktail to guests in Harry’s bar. We didn’t miss that.
Their breakfast was slightly expensive, so we didn’t take our breakfast from that hotel. The breakfast was $75 for each person. Their staff was friendly to us but one of my friends told me the staff was not friendly to him. So, I don’t recommend this hotel for the food or service, but for their room view and decoration. You can include Park Lane on your list of New York City best hotel for Christmas but not mandatory.

The staff of this hotel was super nice both at the reception and in housekeeping. My room was comfortable and beautiful. The big plus point of this place is the lobby, it was well decorated, and the lobby bar made a great cocktail for me. The Royalton Park Avenue Hotel
The Royalton Park Avenue Hotel is located in midtown Manhattan. This hotel has some of the city’s most highly recommended club eateries and attractions. This hotel also has a five-star rooftop terrace and lounge. The rooftop has a swimming pool where you can enjoy the panoramic views of the city skyline.
I was there with my whole family on Christmas day. When we entered, we were welcomed by sleet holiday decorations. We went to Union Square Holiday Market, a short walking distance, where we bought some unique gifts.
The main reason for booking this hotel was the rooftop pool, a rare find in Manhattan. Each staff member was amicable and helpful. Their rooftop bar was outstanding. Bed and pillow were more comfortable than any other hotel in NYC.
Thompson Central Park New York

My wife and I visited this hotel on Christmas, and our experience was unforgettable. Our room at Thompson Central Park was comfortable and stylish. The room has a large window that frames the outside’s holiday lights.
The pool on the rooftop had stunning views of Central Park and NYC. Most of the hotels don’t have any or very poor gyms. But Thompson Central Park New York has a first-class gym. We tried the delicious burger spot behind the hidden red curtain. The staff behavior of this hotel was amazing. So I think this is New York City best hotel for Christmas and you should include it on your list.
The Iroquois
This is one of the most Exquisite hotels in New York City. This Unique Boutique is breathtaking. If you are a history Buffs, you must love this hotel because it was constructed in 1899. The Iroquois is located in Manhattan’s Midtown.
The location of this hotel made it easy to explore some of the most beloved attractions. I visited Bryant Park’s Winer Villages when I was in The Iroquois. Also, I enjoyed ice skating under the twinkling light.
All the staff were helpful and very friendly. I had egg sandwiches, chocolate croissants, yogurt, fresh fruit salad, and coffee in my breakfast. All the items were great. There was a gym on the third floor. Also, they had many free amenities such as toiletries, daily newspapers, wifi, and even umbrellas if it was raining. Their sauna service was also great.
The St. Regis New York
The hotel is famous for its top-notch service and accommodations. The St. Regis New York is already very crowded, it gets even more crowded during the Christmas holidays. During the Christmas holiday, the lobby of this hotel is decorated with a large Christmas tree and too many twinkle lights. You can join in the holiday afternoon tea in Astor Court. That was my unforgettable Christmas experience in The St. Regis New York. The staff of this hotel was so attentive and their service was so quick. The room I got was spacious, well-maintained, and super clean.

Their Spa and pool were quite good because they provide Biologiqe Recherche products in the spa. I also enjoyed the swimming pool; their room and bed were comfortable.
