This is the oldest city in New York. Savannah is famous for its manicured parks, horse-drawn carriages, antebellum mansions, historic districts, and cobblestone streets. Also, you’ll find the Gothic Revival Cathedral of Saint John. Apart from these, Savannah has many other attractions that will fascinate you.

 

I’ve visited Savannah both alone and with family. From my experience twice I think this place is one of the famous historic urban landscapes in the USA. Below I discussed the 10 best things to do in Savannah, Georgia.

 

Tybee Island

Tybee Island is one of my favorite destinations in Savannah, GA. That’s why I put it first. Tybee Island is a barrier island. You can explore dolphin tours, Tybee Museum, Biking, Tybee Island Marine Science Center, Sea Kayak Georgia, and Cockspur Island Lighthouse here.

 

Tybee Island Marine Science Center

Do you love wildlife photography? Then this place is for you. Here you will see various kinds of animals in the wildlife gallery. You will see here baby alligators, horseshoe crabs, and clownfish.

 

Cycling

Rent a cycle and visit the full island. If you are traveling alone, that could be one of the best ideas for you.

 

Sea Kayaking

If you are familiar with kayaking, rent a kayak. It’s highly recommended to visit surrounding coastal areas with sea kayaking.
