But traveling alone in Asheville is one of the best experience of mine. There are many things to explore such as the Appalachian Mountains, Luxury Spas, Little Mountain Town, Salt Caves, and healthy dining.

ToggleHistoric Biltmore Estate
Before I went there, I knew this place would be big. The Historic Biltmore Estate is in 8000 acres of land. Now it is known as the National Historic Monument but used to be the private residence of the Vanderbilt Family. Actually, this is the largest private residence in the USA.
The square footage of Biltmore House is four acres. You will find 250 rooms, 35 bad rooms, and 65 fireplaces inside. The most interesting thing is when you are in the Billiard Room, you will discover a secret door. Biltmore House is like a game of clues. If you are in Biltmore estate don’t miss Conservatory. The conservatory has 2000 species of plants, which makes this place special. You don’t need any reservation to get in, just walk around.
Salt Cave
Salt Cave is a micro-climate of a salt mine and it’s very refreshing. I was there for 45 minutes and these 45 minutes are equivalent to four days at the ocean. You will find plenty of salt in the air of this place.
Skinny Bits and High Climate Tea Company
Next, I was heading to the palace called Skinny Beats. It’s a sound shop. The Skinny Beats shop offers you a sound healing session. This sound healing session immersed me in different sounds and I was super excited. It was amazing. Next, I’m going to the High Climate Tea Company. This is a gorgeous tea house. You should visit this place because they travel to China yearly to collect tea from traditional farmers.
Asheville Botanical Gardens
This place I enjoyed most in all of my experience of solo travel in Asheville. I was there for a forest bating tour. When I heard from my guide that we were going to do a forest bath. I thought I would bathe in the forest’s water, but that was a sunbath. I immersed myself in the forest, soaking up the forest. The guide has given me some tips that are mindful and present. When I was visiting around, she was setting up a tea ceremony. If you visit this place alone, you should carry a GPS Tracker for safety.
Dinner at Posana and Massage at Urban Exhale
If you are looking for an unforgettable dinner experience in Asheville, Posana will be your best choice. I booked a reservation at Posana and joined to explore a meal here. This is a restaurant where you will find all the incredible items on the menu. The next day, I went for an amazing body massage at Urban Exhale and their garden massage room is probably the most awesome massage room I’ve ever seen.
Candle Making
Let’s make some candles. When I entered Candle Making they gave me a clipboard. 1-50 numbers were available there and I found 50 types of fragrances I will use on can candles. So I chose one of them and I made a candle. That was so funny.
Scenic Driving in Blue Ridge Parkway
There was a title gem of the spot where I enjoyed an unforgettable scenic drive. I enjoyed the stunning view up in the mountains. Trees and mountains look white. For a moment you will think, you’re in paradise and when you’re driving a car, you will see white trees on both sides. I thought I was dreaming. I feel so lucky to have gotten a day like this.
