So based on my experience, I will describe the 7 best things to do in Zurich, Switzerland.
Kunsthaus Zurich
I have started my tour journey from Kunsthaus Zurich. The German meaning of Kunsthaus is art house. The ticket price is 23.00 CHF and 20% discount for the Card holders. The discount price is 18.00 CHF. The art gallery is full of culture and incredible collections. The second copy of this collection, you don’t find anywhere in the country.
There you will find a permanent display of some masterpieces by Picasso, Monet, and other big artists. You will also find here an amazing collection of Classical Modernist pieces. You will discover here over 4000 paintings and sculptures to gaze at, and 95000 drawings as well.
Lake Zurich
Want to explore some incredible nature then visit Lake Zurich. I recharge and find out the best time to visit this place in the afternoon. So I decided to visit in the afternoon. This is not only my favorite but also this place is a favorite to local people and tourists. I enjoyed a picnic with my family in this place and this is one of the perfect places for a picnic.
You can sit on the banks and enjoy the boats going by. An area named the Lake Promenade consists of some gardens and parks. You will see people jogging around this place. There are some great boat offers for tours. I didn’t try this I heard that the boat journey is an incredible way to get a better view of the lake. You can go shopping in stores and eat some delicious food near the lake.
Although I have spent only an afternoon but you can enjoy an entire day there and of course, this is free of cost. So based on all of these things, I decided to keep this place in the list of 7 best things to do in Zurich, Switzerland.
Old Town
If you want to see what Zurich looked like a hundred years ago, then I suggest going to the Old Town. This is a very popular place in all of the city of Zurich. All the buildings left over from medieval times. The place will take you back a hundred years when you visit the place.
You will find some amazing museums and hotels in the Old Town. If you are on a couple tour then I will recommend you to visit Muhlesteg Footbridge. The bridge is full of locks put in by couples in love. After passing all day long you can go to a nightclub and bar and have some chill. Because there are more nightclubs and bars than any other palace in Zurich.
Bahnhofstrasse
If are you with your love or a shopping-loving group then visit Bahnhofstrasse. Bahnhofstrasse is a lengthy street that runs from Lake Zurich to the Hotbanhof train station. For people who are looking for high-end shopping, this place is a paradise for them. You will find here some high-end brands such as Chanel, Burberry, and Vuitton.
Thare are some areas for affordable shopping in Bahnhofstrasse. These areas are the Niederdorf and Langstrasse area. These two areas are popular for window shopping. After shopping you can take food or drinks there as there are some restaurants and bars along the way. Zoo Zurich
If you have had your fill of shopping you should see some not-so-cuddly animals. So I recommend Zoo Zurich. They host almost 400 types of animals from around the world. Zoo Zurich is kept neat and clean and super easy to get around. But this place is a little bit more expensive than any other zoo. The entry fee is 28 dollars for adult people and 23 dollars for kids.
But this is a matter of satisfaction that some of the money from the entrance fee goes to protect endangered species. This zoo is open every day and the time is 9 am to 5 pm. You will find some restaurants there and recommend you visit the incredible elephant park while you are there. Swiss National Museum
When you walk into the castle of the Swiss National Museum, you will probably think you are watching a Disney movie or old fairy tale. But after you are inside, it’s been more impressive. This is a giant museum for Swixx cultural history. To learn about Switzerland, this is the best place to start. You will discover here thousands of architects. You will discover a permanent collection called “Simply Zurich” on the first floor.

If you are in Zurich then don’t miss the Food Tour. Zurich is a haven for food lovers. There is no better way to experience amazing foods, especially desserts.
