Winter Vacation in Sun Valley

Last month I spent my winter vacation in Sun Valley and the experience was unforgettable. Sun Valley is one of the most popular destinations in the USA and is located northeast of Ketchum Idaho. In Sub Valley, 220 inches of snowfall every year.

This place has many things to do during winter vacation. In this article, I will share my personal opinion about Sun Valley. Also, I will share my tour experience with you.

Hotel Ketchum

When I reached Sun Valley, I decided to stay in Hotel Ketchum. After entering the hotel, I saw their amazing decor. The lobby area was like that I was staying there all day long and could take a ton of photos. My hotel Ketchum room was modern and with a dreamy fireplace.

I met with the manager of the Hotel Ketchum and she took me around on a property tour. I explored there a hive salon, Ski Rentals door, and paddles up pocky. You can rent Skis, Ski Boots, Ski Bindings, Ski Poles, Ski Helmet, Ski Goggles, and Ski Gloves from Ski Rental Door or you can buy them from Amazon. This hotel has a complimentary breakfast option for guests at the hangout. After spending some time at Hotel Ketchum I went to Barrio75 to eat some delicious food and drink.

Barrio 75 is actually a Taco Lounge and Tequila Bar. This restaurant was open only four years ago. Whether you are staying into mope or on the slopes, their menu will get the party going. I enjoyed my food and it was delicious.

Local Art Gallery

For heading out to the Rocky Mountains I decided to to quickly stop by a couple of the local art galleries.  So I took a 40-minute bus journey to Galena Lodge. It was white snow everywhere. Their collection was amazing. Then I went to the Ochi Gallery. This gallery allows you to explore their traditional and experimental practices. The Ochi Gallery is known for its interdisciplinary and dynamic exhibitions.

River Run Lodge

So my next ride to the River Run Lodge. I am going there for a gondola ride and exploring skiing in the snow. The River Run Lodge is located at the base of Bald Mountain. I bought a $20 ticket to ride on the gondola.

I collected my ticket and started exploring the Bald Mountain by Gondola. After that, I bought a ticket for exploring skiing and snowboarding. The price range for skiing and snowboarding is from $130 – $185. Actually, it depends on the time of the season. After spending a full day at River Run Lodge, I came back to my hotel room.

Enjoy A tasty dinner

After resting, I went out of my hotel and was looking for a tasty dinner. In this place, you will find numerous restaurants on both sides of the road, Where you can taste many types of delicious food.

Warfield Brewery & Distillery

Here you will find organic beer, organic whiskey, and organic Vodka. As I don’t like to drink these kinds of things, I only visited this place.
